This razor's name pretty much just means that it's a fairly generic German razor made in the city of Solingen. That being said, though, the quality is very good, the shave quality is terrific, and those celluloid scales are just beautiful.
Please note: This blade is lightly pitted almost throughout. It still looks good, it's fully functional, but when you turn it in the light you're going to see the spots.
The scales, though gorgeous, are slightly warped at the wedge end. It's not terrible, but it means you have to use some care when closing the blade into the scales.
The blade is almost unworn, it will shave for many years to come. Freshly honed, and ready to shave.
Price is $45.
I'll also re-hone up to three times, customer just pays postage for the re-hone.
